Sune was built to reimagine how people discover and buy handmade products. We believed that small makers deserved a platform where their craftsmanship could shine—not get buried in algorithmic noise.
The core insight: shopping for handmade goods is inherently emotional and story-driven. Buyers want to know who made something, why they made it, and what makes it special. Traditional e-commerce listings strip that context away.
Sune put video at the center of the experience—letting makers share their stories in their own words, while giving shoppers a relaxed, discovery-first way to browse. The goal was to make online shopping feel like wandering through a craft fair: serendipitous, personal, and joyful.
As the first PM at Sune, I owned and shipped all the features below, growing the app from concept to 700K downloads
